Once the SCART is connected into the DVR, it is being treated just the same as any other source, tuner/camera. My route is to play the VHS-C tape back on my VHS player/recorder (not the old camera), and use a (gold-plated, but don't think it makes much difference) SCART connector into my Pioneer DVR-433 recorder. I use a different conversion process from VHS -> PDR, but my final quality is a whole lot better than yours sounds to be from posting here. ![]() Lack of sharpness, yes, but pixellations are something actually wrong with the conversion process. I can see no reason why you should have pixellations, however low resolution your orginal images.
